Entitlement and Negative Personality Traits, Anger Problems, Narcissistic Injury

We define and discuss, with case examples, the risk indicators of certain personality traits associated with targeted violence – Item 10: Entitlement and Other Negative Traits; and Item 11: Lack of Conscience and Irresponsibility. Item 12: Anger Problems, addresses anger as expressed affectively or felt anger as a motivational contributor to targeted violence. Included are more in-depth discussions of narcissistic injury, detecting indicators of psychopathic traits, and how the negative emotions of shame and rage become transformed into feelings of pride and power as an individual moves onto a pathway to violence.
